Back on Track & Master Class
At Falmouth School we want all students to achieve their very best. In order to support our students we have a comprehensive after school support programme for Upper School students. From 3pm daily there are various sessions available which provide a productive and supportive environment for students to carry out independent learning.
There are two main types of sessions on offer:
‘Master Class’ sessions are voluntary and are available to all students in each subject for students. At each session a subject specialist will be available to support students however these sessions are not taught sessions, but subject specific resources are made available to aid independent study. For students whose progress was coded amber on their last school report these sessions are recommended.
‘Back on Track’ sessions are for students who, on their last school report, were highlighted as red for that subject. The Director of Progress will contact parents individually to discuss our Back on Track scheme if he feels your child would benefit from attendance at these sessions. Parents can agree to make these sessions compulsory. If you would like more details on how we can support your child then please contact the Director of Progress at the school.
All students can access the Library from 3pm daily for ‘Independent silent study.’
There is a separate Master Class / Back on Track timetable for each group Please click on the links below to see the relevant timetable for your child.
You will need your child’s teacher’s name and subject to identify which is their dedicated session.
