A group of 10 students across Year 10 and 11 attended a full days training with 'The Diana Award' to be recognised as Anti-bullying Ambassadors for Falmouth School.
'The Diana Award' is a UK based charity aimed at enabling students in school to recognise bullying and support those affected. The training involved understanding what bullying is and the forms it can take, awareness of how to support those that may want help, and they gained knowledge of where to send those that require further advice and guidance.
The group are now full of ideas and are already putting plans in place to train other pupils within the school to be part of their team, set up a calm space for students to go and speak about any concerns and deliver training and activities to the whole school to promote a positive environment.
