A group of Falmouth School students in the Personal Support Area created a Christmas magazine at the end of last term, selling copies and donating the proceeds to charity. In total the students raised a fantastic £125, and donated their funds to Shelter.
Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England and Scotland. The charity was delighted with the contribution and wrote the students a letter thanking them for the efforts.
Head of PSA, Amy Partington, said “We are really proud of the students for making such a fun and interesting magazine and that they chose Shelter as the charity to donate the proceeds to. We are now in discussions to decide what our next fundraising project will be. Thank you to all staff who purchased the magazine and for their donations.”
Well done to Emily Simmons, Beth Nicholls, William Bishton-Pedley, Harry Dimmock, Oliver Iggulden, James Devereux, Amy Kitts and Finley Simpson-Common.
