JLT begin their roles
Having appointed our new Junior Leadership team in July and in slightly different circumstances to normal, we caught up with some members of the team this week to talk about the start of the school year.
Head Boy, Harvey: “I’d like to be a role model. Obviously there’s something different about me, but I don’t think that should stop you from what you want to achieve. I have gone after something I wanted to do and I’ve achieved it. I’d like to use that as example for every student.”
Head Girl, Cerys: “The interview was a great experience and will stand us in good stead in the future. For me, it just shows how much your confidence can grow in school from Year 7 to where we are now. I’m sure this new year group will be exactly the same and we hope to help with that.”
Deputy Head Boy, Connor: “It’s great to be back and the atmosphere around the school is fantastic. Everyone feels safe and happy, so it has been a great start to the year and for our new Year 7’s.”
Deputy Head Girl, Layla: “We’ll be focusing on continuing the good job that has already been done with student well-being and for students to tap into their creative side! We want to be good role models for the younger students and to impress the parents of the school. We’ll do our best to make their start to life at Falmouth School as smooth as possible.”
Look out for a special interview with Head Boy Harvey Thompson in the coming weeks!
