Mya to be a part of G7

Congratulations to Falmouth College student, Mya Gurrin, who has been selected as part of the Young People’s News Hub during the G7 summit. Mya will be based in the News Room at Falmouth University’s Woodlane Campus during the Summit next month, which has gained huge media interest in the county with it hosted in Carbis Bay.

The attendees will include the leaders of the seven G7 member states as well as representatives of the European Union. As part of the new hub, Mya will help prepare a variety of stories for both social media and local radio, as well as written content. “I’m really grateful to have my application accepted and I’m really looking forward to taking part”, said Mya.
