Green Ripple Effect Project
Falmouth School has a new partnership with RJ Working, a charity which supports creative learning by Cornwall's children and young people. This week 3 groups participated in ‘Leadership and Teamwork through the Green Ripple Effect Project’, and they will spend two days learning Restorative Practice with RJ Working at the extraordinary Trebah Gardens site just outside Falmouth. The students involved were given opportunities to practice their communication and problem-solving skills, whilst enhancing their respect for nature, and sharing responsibility for it to thrive, within their group and more widely. The project will support young people to experience increased confidence, increased communication skills, increased adaptability, and increased connection with nature. Each participant will be involved in making a record of their group’s unique experience.
