This week our U12 Netball team travelled to Newquay Tretherras to compete in the U12 County Netball tournament competing against 27 other schools. The girls faced an incredibly tough first pool; however they won games against Penryn College, St Ives School and St James Hunt school. In the next round students competed in 5 games against Bodmin College, Helston school, Truro High School, Camborne School and Penair- performing fantastic as a team to win every single game. The girls finished the event 7th out of 24 schools. Mrs Benney was extremely proud of the incredible team work, flexibility, resilience and impeccable manners and sportsmanship the students displayed throughout the day. Congratulations also goes to Tomas, Maisy, George and Harry who represented their surf-lifesaving club at the weekend in Swansea, competing in the youth national championships. The students secured many gold and silver medals along with impressive PBs for their individual performances for their clubs and we are incredibly proud of them all.
